LOGISTAR PROGRESS

Welcome to the fifth newsletter of LOGISTAR project! The newsletter summarises the latest activities and advances in the project.

During the last months the technical work packages finalised their activities on the different subsystems, which consist of a module for prediction of timings in the logistic network and events, a global optimization module for the planning of resources and the automated negotiation and a re-optimisation module basing on the real time events and incidents.

As LOGISTAR is entering the last five months on the project, partners are working hard towards integration, optimisation and testing of the system under real conditions in the three Living Labs. The first prototype of the fully integrated LOGISTAR platform will be deployed this month and the system will be tested during the end of May and June.

Partners expect to release the second optimised prototype of the platform in July and dedicate the last months of the project for final validation of the LOGISTAR platform.

In parallel to the technical activities, partners have also been working on the dissemination and exploitation of the project. Despite mobility limitations from COVID-19, partners have participated in a number of conferences and publications, and hold a couple of webinars to receive market inputs on the project. For the upcoming months partners will use the Horizon Results Booster service to prepare the exploitation plan and strategy. Partners are also planning a number of dissemination activities which include a seminar of AI and a 4th User´s Board within IPIC 2021 conference next 14th-16th June. Both sessions will be free to attend, and we will shortly open the inscription to it.
