LOGISTAR 3rd Consortium Meeting in Cork

LOGISTAR 3rd Consortium Meeting in Cork

On 8-9 May 2019 members of the LOGISTAR consortium met in UCC facilities in Cork to discuss the general progress of the project being developed under the European Commission Horizon 2020 program.

After nearly one year, it was a great opportunity for partners to meet and share the first results of their research carried out on improving real time logistics planning and scheduling.

The partners reviewed the current status of the planned activities, with special focus on data collection, harmonization and management and how to apply artificial intelligence and optimization techniques to each of the three planned Living Labs.

Furthermore, the first testing phase of LOGISTAR will take place by the end of this year and during the meeting the planning of the upcoming activities was defined.
